My Best And Worst Travel Moments Of 2014
We arrived at the Tumbes crossing and were told to take our passports and get off. We lined up and everyone obtained through rapidly till Laura. The computer system magically stopped working… and we had to anticipate about quarter-hour. At least the border official found a use for Laura´s passport, which he used to fan himself while we waited.
https://postheaven.net/goosebead68 Well I got caught in a figurative hurricane on my trip home from a month in South America. It was just one factor after another after one other… almost laughable if I wasn’t so pissed off. It all began at our hostel in Miraflores. Back on the highway, it was getting late and we have been watching one other horrible movie, when all of a sudden the bus stopped and the lights went out. We assumed this meant bed time although we hadn´t eaten dinner and it wasn´t even 8pm.
We nonetheless don't know what that was even about. They didn´t even check our bags or ask to see our passports. The next major journey was crossing the border itself.
This time Laura and I were first in line and fortunately skilled no technical difficulties. Our first “pleasure” of the trip occurred at our first petrol cease. The women all rushed off the bus to use an actual toilet after which I determined to seize a bottle of water as well. I was just about to pay, when my good friend Laura cried out… Our bus… it´s leaving!
Then everybody at the back of the bus started getting off… we had no thought what was occurring. We were then told to take all our belongings and get off the bus. So we frantically gathered our stuff and received off. We then walked by way of a small building and ended up outside again. Minutes later our bus pulled up and we all obtained back on.
We nonetheless needed to go through customs once more 3 miles down the street. We continued on and drove through a flee market village till we had been informed to get out again.
